Chelsea Hoopes Silver is co-owner of Silverwood Home & Galleries in Saratoga Springs and is a real estate broker with Town and Country Properties. She has a BA in English Literature from the University of Colorado and a MA in American Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She is the current Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Hyde Collection, a trustee for the Charles R. Wood Foundation and has served on several local philanthropic committees, including the Double H Ranch Gala Committee, The Saratoga Hospital Gala Committee, and the Friends of the Bolton Historical Society expansion special task force. Her past work experience also includes positions at the Gerald Peters Gallery and Godel and Co. Fine Art in New York City.
Chelsea is Charles R. Wood’s granddaughter and Charlene Wood’s daughter. She enjoys skiing with her 2 boys and husband in the Adirondacks and playing lakeside with her family on Lake George in the summer. She also passionately enjoys and supports the arts, especially in her home region.
