Charlene was born and raised in the Lake George area. She graduated from Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA and received a Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College.
Charlene’s professional career has included positions in sales, management and retail. Charlene owns local real estate brokerage Town & Country Properties and co -owns a retail business, Silverwood Home and Galleries, with her daughter in Saratoga Springs.
Charlene is currently Chairman of the Board of the Charles R. Wood Foundation, sits on the HH Ranch Board, the Saratoga Performing Arts Board and Saratoga Hospital Flower and Fruit Committee. In the past, she sat on the Lake George Land Conservatory Board, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Board, the Lake George Club Board, and was a member of the SPAC Action Council and co-chaired the Hyde Museum 2017 Capital Campaign.
Charlene enjoys travel, tennis and spending time with her family.
