Braden is one of Charles Wood’s grandchildren, and son of Bobbie and Tom Wages. Braden was born in Glens Falls and has the fondest memories growing up in the Lake George area before leaving for school and ultimately his current home in Dallas, Texas.
After his early experience helping and working in amusement park food service, Braden fell in love with cooking, serving, and sharing a meal. After graduating from the Hotel School at Cornell, Braden and his wife, Yasmin, lived in Napa, Southern California, and Texas.
They eventually opened their own restaurant, Malai Kitchen, in Dallas in 2011. They now have three Malai locations in DFW.
Braden loves to travel, be outdoors, and explore with his three young children. As a recent addition to the CRW Foundation board, he is excited to be re-connecting with the region he still calls home and continue the foundation’s profound impact.
