Heather Ward retired from SI Group, Inc., a global family chemical company headquartered in Schenectady, New York with 20 manufacturing locations in 13 countries. Ms. Ward worked as the Global Director of Budgeting & Planning and Corporate Secretary. Ms. Ward served on the board of directors of SI Group from 1991.

Ms. Ward has focused her efforts on the community as Chairman of the Wright Family Foundation, Inc. based in Schenectady, New York. The foundation has focused its priority giving in the areas of neighborhood revitalization, jobs and education.

Ms. Ward is the Chairwoman of the board of directors of Proctor’s Theatre, and a Vice-Chair of the Saratoga Hospital board of trustees. She is a member of the Flower and Fruit Mission serving Saratoga Hospital. She is a member of the board of trustees of the Charles R. Wood Foundation. She served as Treasurer of the Carlilian Foundation for 12 years. She is past President of the board of directors of the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs, and served as an Advisory Board member of Children and Nature of Saratoga.

After graduating from high school in three years, Ms. Ward received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University. She began her career as a stockbroker and after a brief career at GE, she subsequently joined SI Group, Inc. in 1994.

Heather enjoys playing the piano, tennis, and enjoys spending time with her husband of thirty-two years and their two sons.
